10 puppies stolen in housebreaking at Hug-a-Pup pet retailer in Hammond, Indiana
HAMMOND, Ind. (CBS) — Police in Hammond, Indiana are trying to find two teenagers carrying ski masks who broke right into a pet retailer and stole puppies.
The housebreaking occurred at Hug-a-Pup at 169th Street and Calumet Avenue in Hammond on Sunday night time.
The thieves stole Pomeranians, poodles, German shepherds, and combined breeds referred to as teddy bears. Some of the canine that had been stolen are pictured under.
The teenagers smashed a window within the enterprise and grabbed 10 puppies from their cages.
The teenagers stuffed the canine into a big duffel bag, and drove off in a van.
The proprietor of the pet retailer instructed us she was going to promote the 8-week-old canine for as much as $1,800 every.
