30 younger ladies compete in EV Rally for STEM training


CHICAGO (CBS) — Dozens of younger ladies from Chicago “got it in gear” Saturday all within the title of STEM training. 

The ComEd EV Rally was held on the Museum of Science and Industry, and 30 very critical science college students had a ton of enjoyable exhibiting of the six electrical powered go-karts they constructed this summer season. 

The rally, identified for years as The Ice-Box Derby, was again after a two-year hiatus. 

The purpose is to encourage younger ladies to be taught extra about science, know-how, engineering and math, giving them the drive to pursue careers they may love.
