Australia: 2 helicopters collided in the air near Sea-World theme park, 4 people died


SYDNEY, Jan 2 (Reuters) Two helicopters collided mid-air on Monday near a popular tourist destination in Australia’s Gold Coast region, killing four people. Emergency services were called to the scene near the SeaWorld theme park at around 2pm. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau said it had launched an investigation into the accident. Immediately after the incident, the people present there informed the police about the incident. After this police and medical team reached the spot and people were rescued.
