Chris Evans Says It’s an Easier Sell to Bring Him Back to the MCU as Johnny Storm Than Captain America — GeekTyrant
Chris Evans will not be open to coming again to play Captain America once more within the MCU, however he’s completely up for returning to the function of Johnny Storm, a.ok.a. The Human Torch, for Fantastic Four!
During a current interview with MTV News, Evans was requested about enjoying a variant of Johnny Storm sooner or later within the MCU. He replied:
“God, wouldn’t that be great? Wouldn’t that be great? No, no one’s ever come to me about that. I mean, I don’t exactly look the same anymore. That was 15, almost 20 years ago. Oh my God, I’m old. But I really love that character, but I think… aren’t they doing something now with Fantastic Four?”
On the potential of enjoying a variant regardless of a brand new Fantastic Four he defined that it might be a neater promote for him than coming again at Captain America:
“Yeah, I guess that’s true. I mean, I guess all bets are off. Yeah. Look, I would love it. I would love it. That would actually be an easier sell to me than coming back as Cap. You know what I mean? Cap is so precious to me. And you know, I almost don’t wanna disrupt what a beautiful experience that was. But Johnny Storm, I feel like he didn’t really get his day. That was before Marvel really found its footing. So I loved that role and, you know, who knows.”
At this level, something is feasible within the MCU, particularly with the entire completely different variants operating round in several universes. Seeing Chris Evans again within the function of Johnny Storm wouldn’t be the craziest factor that’s occurred within the MCU!
What do you assume? Would you wish to see Evans again at Johnny Storm within the MCU?
