CNN honors Maywood girl serving to underserved households with autistic youngsters in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — A Maywood girl is a CNN hero. The community honored Debra Vines for serving to hundreds of underserved households within the Chicago space who’ve a toddler with autism.
After struggling to boost her son Jason who was recognized with autism at 18 months, she based the Answer Incorporated in Forest Park to assist others.
We’ve executed a number of tales on her group over time. Vines seeks to offer providers and solutions for households.
Many of those that Vines helps are from Black and Brown communities – a demographic identified to face hurdles within the analysis and therapy of autism.
