CPD seek for automobile wished in lethal hit-and-run in Chatham


CHICAGO (CBS) – Chicago police are asking for the general public’s assist in finding a automobile concerned in a lethal hit-and-run Monday night within the Chatham neighborhood.

Around 9:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck and killed at 449 E. 79th Street.

Police mentioned the automobile fled the scene westbound on 79th Street after which turned northbound onto Martin Luther King Drive from the situation with out stopping or contacting emergency companies.

The automobile is described as a tan 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe with a sunroof, tinted home windows, and blacked-out rims. There is injury to the entrance driver-side bumper, grill, and hood.
