Farmers protest towards proposed IIT campus in Goa


Farmers staged a protest towards the proposed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) campus in Goa, claiming the state authorities was buying land for it with out their consent.

After the farmers’ protest on Monday in Sanguem space of South Goa district, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated some individuals had the behavior of unnecessarily opposing tasks.
