FCC Commissioner Writes to Apple and Google to Remove TikTok


FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr wrote to Apple and Google on Tuesday asking the businesses to take away TikTok from their app shops as a consequence of “secret data usage practices.” It occurs after Buzz Feed News Last week, it was reported that TikTok staff in China had entry to person knowledge from the US till January.

After BuzzFeed News revealed their report, TikTok quickly went on the defensive and introduced that it was shifting all U.S. person knowledge to Oracle servers situated within the nation.
