Everything in the world is broken by stumbling, and there is a success that comes by stumbling.
When it comes to cracking the UPSC CSE exam, candidates often raise a lot of questions and seem worried about a number of topics. Often the youth feel that you cannot pass the UPSC exam by studying in Hindi medium. Be informed that Ravi Sihag passed the UPSC CSE exam in his very first attempt despite being a Hindi medium student from an ordinary farmer family. Seeing Ravi clearly shows that an average student who has done his schooling from a very simple place or whose family has not been in this field, can also succeed if he is determined and works hard.
7 years ago today, I got 13th rank in UPSC after giving exam in Hindi medium. Today Ravi Sihag IDAS has again created history by securing 18th rank.

Hindi medium did not make any difference –
Ravi says that candidates often do not feel confident about Hindi medium, whereas it is not so. It doesn’t matter what your medium is. His medium was Hindi as well as Hindi literature was also optional. Despite this, he not only passed the exam but also scored excellent marks in the optional. As a result, he became the Hindi medium topper of the year 2018.

English is also important
Ravi further says that it is okay to choose Hindi medium and give exam from it but it does not mean that you will not have to learn English. English is one of the main requirements to crack this exam and look ahead. So don’t ignore it and don’t think that if you are of Hindi medium then you don’t need to learn English. Ravi says that everyone has their own thinking but he feels that passing this exam is not that difficult. With the right approach, moving in the right direction and hard work, anyone can clear this exam. Ravi says if I can do it then anyone can.
