Man severely injured after crashing into horse on Route 47 in Kane County

KANE COUNTY, Ill. (CBS) – A person is in critical situation after crashing right into a horse Thursday morning on Route 47.
The Sheriff’s Office mentioned a deputy was driving south close to the intersection of Rohrsen highway round 12:40 a.m. once they noticed the lifeless horse within the roadway.
The deputy then positioned a Dodge Ramm pickup truck off the roadway close to the horse. It seems that the automobile struck the horse after which left the roadway after the influence, police mentioned.
The driver and sole occupant of the Dodge, a 39-year-old man from Hampshire, was transported by helicopter to Lutheran General Hospital with critical accidents.
The proprietor of the horse instructed deputies they felt that the horse was affected by a medical difficulty and had damaged out of the secure previous to the crash.
The Kane County Drone Team, Pingree Grove Fire/EMS, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Kane County Office of Emergency Management, and LifeNet assisted Kane County Sheriff’s Office with the crash.
The investigation is ongoing and no tickets have been issued.
