October 2nd is Overwatch’s final day on earth

Despite an earlier promise that Overwatch and Overwatch 2 would peacefully coexist, we not too long ago realized that there might be just one. And now we now have a date for when Overwatch prime goes offline: October 2nd.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Overwatch industrial lead Jon Spector defined that on October 2nd, Overwatch prime will die, and for roughly 24 hours, the sport will probably be offline to make approach for Crystal Overwatch — err— Overwatch 2 on October 4th.

“So that means, as a practical point, that October 2nd really is the last day to go in and play Overwatch 1,” Spector informed Eurogamer.

The arrival of Overwatch 2 brings with it important and everlasting modifications to the sport. With rather less than three weeks left, right here’s an inventory of issues…
