Pakistani woman falls on boundary after colliding with anchor fielder during match, video goes viral

The Twenty20 (SA20) league is currently being played in South Africa, where many of the world’s legendary players have participated. The first ever tournament is hosted by Pakistan’s Zainab Abbas, who is a known name in the world of anchoring. During the tournament, an incident happened to him during a live match, the video of which is going viral on social media.

In fact, on 18 January, the 12th match of the tournament was played MI Cape Town vs Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Sam Karan came to bowl the 13th over of the innings during Sunrisers Eastern Cape’s batting. Marco Jansen played a great shot on the last ball of his over. The ball was heading for the boundary and two fielders ran to stop it. As the ball reached the boundary line, a fielder dived and collided with Pakistan’s female anchor Zainab Abbas, who was giving an interview near the boundary rope. Zainab fell down as the fielder hit his leg.

But after Zainab fell down, the people beside her immediately raised their hands. It is a relief that Zainab was not injured in the encounter.

In reply, Sunrisers won the match with three balls to spare behind Marco Jansen’s dangerous innings of 66 off 27 balls. Jansen hit three fours and seven sixes in his innings. He was adjudged Man of the Match for this innings.
