Sarfraz Khan hits another century in Ranji Trophy, Sidhu Musewala style celebration video goes viral


Mumbai’s right-handed batsman Sarfraz Khan is currently in great form. He scored a century for Mumbai against Delhi in the Ranji Trophy Group B match in New Delhi on Tuesday. After completing the century, Sarfraz celebrated in the style of famous Punjabi late singer Sidhu Musewala whose video is going viral on social media.

In fact, during the game against Delhi, Sarfaraz scored 125 runs off 155 balls with a brilliant batting performance. His innings had 16 fours and four sixes. After scoring his third Ranji Trophy century this season, Sarfaraz took off his gloves and celebrated in Sidhu Musewala style by raising his finger while hitting his thigh.

Mumbai coach Amal Majumdar also praised Sarfraz’s brilliant century in his own special way. He took off his hat three times and praised this batsman. Majumdar’s sweet pose is loved by fans.

BCCI shared the video of the entire incident on their Twitter account. Sharing the video, he wrote in the caption,

Hundreds and counting continues. Another great innings from Sarfraz Khan.

Notably, Mumbai scored 293 runs in their first innings thanks to the 25-year-old batsman’s century innings. Apart from Sarfraz, no other batsman in the team could score big runs.

Notably, Sarfraz Khan is yet to make his international debut. The 25-year-old batsman has so far played 36 matches in his first-class cricket career, scoring 3380 runs at an impressive average of 80.47. These include 12 centuries and nine half-century innings.
