Surveillance images present SUV concerned in lethal hit-and-run crash in Edgebrook


CHICAGO (CBS)– Chicago police launched surveillance images of the SUV needed in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 5-year-old boy in Edgebrook. 

Photos present the crimson SUV concerned within the crash on August 10. Police count on the car to have harm to the entrance space. 


Police mentioned the kid was on the street, within the 6300 block of North Cicero Avenue simply after 9 p.m., when he was hit by a crimson SUV after which a 2013 Volvo.

The driver of the crimson SUV fled the scene and the motive force of the Volvo stayed on the scene. Police mentioned a second automobile hit him after the Jeep and that driver stopped. The household mentioned that driver even rendered CPR on Taha.

The boy, recognized as 5-year-old Taha Khan, was rushed to AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital in very essential situation, and was later pronounced useless, in accordance with police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s workplace.

The heartbroken mother and father of Taha mentioned he was a shy boy who beloved to attract and was excited to begin kindergarten in two weeks. His mother described the second when she noticed him after the hit and run and instantly feared the worst.
