US striker Daryl Dike out 2 months with muscle tear


WEST BROMWICH, England (AP) — West Bromwich Albion striker Daryl Dike can be sidelined for a minimum of two months after a scan confirmed a torn thigh muscle.

The damage is a blow to the 22-year-old American’s hopes of incomes a roster spot with the United States on the World Cup, which begins Nov. 20.

West Brom supervisor Steve Bruce, in his media convention forward of Saturday’s sport towards Blackburn within the second-tier Championship, stated Dike can be out “at least a couple of months.”
