Walls of Chicago Lawn home collapse attributable to gasoline explosion

CHICAGO (CBS) — A gasoline explosion prompted the partitions of a home to break down Wednesday within the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

The gasoline explosion occurred late within the afternoon on the bungalow at 6651 S. Claremont Ave., close to Marquette Road. Both sides of the home collapsed.

The Fire Department mentioned one man in his 60s was in the home on the time.

He had no seen accidents, however was nonetheless taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the place he was stabilized.
