Hindi DNA: Indian wrestlers have been sitting in a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar since Wednesday demanding the resignation of Wrestling Federation of India president Brijbhushan Singh. The wrestlers have alleged that the WFI boss has harassed the players and also sexually assaulted women wrestlers. The strike which started with a number of 30 fighters is now taking a formidable shape. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has said that he will resolve the matter soon. However, the Fighting Federation is not the only one where the realms are in the hands of any leader or bureaucrat. There are many such sports federations in India whose heads have become leaders.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, president of the Wrestling Federation of India, is a BJP MLA and has also been a six-time MLA.
